Investment Portfolios

USAEA has developed a network of private and institutional investors that support the advanced energy industry and has in place a process of attracting advanced energy investment candidates through our government relationships and industry partners and advisors.  Using these assets, we are creating individual “portfolios of investments” in separate limited liability corporations (LLCs) that meet the investment criteria of the investors in our network. 

Investing in a portfolio of companies has a number of advantages to both investors and the companies seeking funding. 

• Investor Advantage: For investors a portfolio is inherently less risky than separate individual investments.  We further reduce risk because we have in place the government, industry and research relationships to find and qualify the best opportunities for each portfolio.

• Company Advantage: For industry, acceptance into a USAEA portfolio improves access to capital because we have pre-marketed the portfolio to the investors interested in the specific types of investments. 

Each portfolio will have up to 10 investments that must meet stringent business and technology criteria.
